EPSON 2100 2200 FIX for ROLLER WHEEL INK SMEAR LINES

Please realize there is two separate print issues with the Epson 2100 2200 inkjet printer with each fix being sold separately. Roller wheel ink smear lines is the most common problem with the Epson 2100 2200 inkjet printer especially when using glossy and other non-epson paper media. These smudge marks usually appear as 1/8" thick whitish ink smear lines spaced about 1.25" apart. Our Epson fix mechanically lifts the output rollers up and out of harms way. Instructions are included for quick easy placement and removal if ever need be. No disassembly of printer is needed. If you're experiencing the "other print problem" of pizza wheel marks (thin dotted dashed lines) then see item below. Of course we recommend buying both fixes.

$29 postpaid or $49 for both

EPSON 2100 2200 PIZZA WHEEL FIX

Pizza wheel marks can be a problem with the Epson 2100 2200 inkjet printer especially when using glossy, canvas and other non-epson paper media. These pizza wheel marks usually appear as thin perforated (dotted or dashed) lines that run front to back as print rolls out. Our Epson fix mechanically lifts the pizza wheels up and out of harms way. Instructions are included for quick easy placement and removal if ever need be. No disassembly of printer is needed. If you're experiencing the more common Epson 2100 2200 roller wheel ink smear line problem then see item above. Of course we recommend buying both fixes.

REVIEW

I am a graphic designer with 20 years experience and a thriving business. I have wanted to shift into the fine art market for my artwork so I purchased an Epson 2200 to print on inkjet canvas. I didn’t realize that the Epson 2200 had some problems with ink smearing and pizza wheel tracks on some media when I purchased it but I soon learned. Has anyone figured out what those things are for anyway? By the way, Other than these two problems that are easily corrected with the Custom Record fixes, the printer prints beautifully!

After ruining several pieces of canvas and a lot of frustration, I ran across the Ink Smear Fix by Custom Records and sent off for it. It works great and has no side effects on the printer and can be easily removed.

That took care of the ink smearing but I was still getting small tracks across my prints that I later learned were caused by pizza wheels. These are little wheels in the printer that look like little pizza cutters and apparently were someone’s bright idea that really doesn’t do that much because the Epson Pizza Wheel Fix created by Custom Records has completely fixed the problem without their having any effect on the printer or the prints.

I highly recommend both these fixes for a time and headache saving simple solution to a very costly problem without compromising your printer or the warranty. One of the great things about the fixes is that the fixes can be installed and removed easily at any time.

Thanks for a great solution!
